Moment of oblivion
Friends,
Picked-up this incredible Evil Twin cape not long ago from the team at Material Attention. A great array of autumn colours and super soft fabric, this cape has quickly become on of my favourite trans-seasonal wardrobe additions.
Every time I step out in this little beauty I can't help but think of some abstract, Dali/ van Gogh mash-up.
I'm wearing:
Cape, Evil Twin, via Material Attention
Shorts, Bardot
Tank, Minkpink via Market HQ
Hat, Sportsgirl
Heels, Rubi
Luv,

P.S. The lucky winner of the Friend in Fashion/ Shopbop gift card is The Daily Fashionista. Congratulations and happy shopping!

Bell bottoms: the return of flared jeans
Bell bottoms
THIS time every year that the world at large, and not just those in the know such as yourself, start to look to the new year's trends and ponder about the larger direction of clothing. Every December we see this fact played out time and time again, both in the correspondance we receive and in the activity across fashionever4.blogspot.com, with questions such as are skinny jeans still in fashion becoming increasingly frequent. And the short answer is: yes, skinny jeans are still in fashion - they're going nowhere, at least in terms of trends, fast

SPRING FASHION 2011
That essence of an era gone by. And we want to cherry pick the sleekest, sexiest, and most stylish looks from it. In recent years we've worn the best of the 20s and 30s, seen the rebirth and fading of an 80s come back, and we're just about to do it all again. But this time, its the 1970s that are due for a reinterpretation.
Spring 70s sophistication by night
By night the '70s sophisticate turns into the ultimate socialite, with look-at-me shimmering fabrics and cuts that either tightly hug or sensually drape over the body.
Choose high sheen fabrics with a '70s disco-inspired edge, like lurex or silk; anything with a metallic thread.
Add a ruffled neckline under a brocade blazer or tuxedo jacket, paired with a sharp pair of pants.
