Fashion Innovation Awards 2013

There are four LSAD Fashion student finalists in the Golden Egg Fashion Innovation Awards 2013 ...Hazel Mallon, Katie Cochrane, Aisling Mc Donnell and Katlin Mc Grath, the final is 5TH April at the Radison hotel Galway.

LSAD also have two finalists in the Persil Fashion competition... Emma Considine and David Murray, the final is being held at the end of March.

Dear friends,

From Louis Vuitton to 3.1 Phillip Lim, to Prada, pastels and lady-like tailoring have featured heavily on catwalks.

Here is my take on the trend, experimenting by colour blocking pastel hues, as well as texture in these gorgeous THIMBLE shorts.

There is something eternally feminine about pastels, so I'm happy to see more and more designers picking them up.
