Bolongaro Trevor Spring/Summer 2011

As we learned in a press release that I published last week, Bolongaro Trevor is a contemporary label created by British designers Kait Bolongaro and Stuart Trevor.

The 2011 spring/summer collection has a rock and roll/mod influence and a moody darkness reminiscent of Victorian London.

The dark, gothic printed t-shirts and scarves draw inspiration from the Victorian obsession with death, glory, and afterlife.

Pants and jeans are deep crotch, military inspired.

Bolongaro Trevor Autumn/Winter 2010

Bolongaro Trevor is the brainchild created by British designers Kait Bolongaro and Stuart Trevor—original founders of and former designers behind the cult retail store group: All Saints Retail Ltd.

Original, unique and commercial, the new collection comprises contemporary handmade pieces, inspired by vintage finds amassed over the past 20 years, creating a modern and sharp sculptured aesthetic with a dark and moody, hard edge.

-Super luxury, buttery washed aniline leather coats, jackets and dresses.
-Unsculptured tailoring with military detailing with signature union jack flag linings.
-Superfine Merino Wool knitwear.
-Dark, Gothic prints inspired by the Victorian obsession with death, glory and the afterlife.
-Super soft Jersey separates- polo's, T-shirts, raw edged tops and draped cardies.
-Deep crotch, military inspired wool flannel and cotton jersey pants and jeans.
-Unique and beautifully embellished statement dresses and draped jersey tops.

Jackets are made from reconstituted Union Jack flags, which appear as linings and prints on T-shirts, shirts, knits, scarves and dresses.

Bolongaro Trevor is currently the fastest growing brand in men’s contemporary in Selfridges, London.

Recent collaborations include THE WHO for their Feb. 2010 Superbowl gig USA and uber-cool bands Kasabian and the Kings of Leon for the front cover of music bible NME.

The core of the collection has a Rock and Roll/mod influence and a moody darkness reminiscent of Victorian London, making the brand a hit with the edgy East End crowd and celebrities...
